We have done a few projects with them (repoured entry stairs, large 12' x 19' patio, and slab area for keeping firewood dry) and each time they were fantastic. They are good with communication, punctual, and most importantly the end result turned out great. I would highly recommend them.

Once upon a time, I bought a quirky little house in my favorite neighborhood. It had been beaten, neglected, and abused for several years. I set about rescuing the little house. Siding, roof, floors, paint (lots of paint), replacing the deck that had fallen off, updating the kitchen ---13 years pouring love and inspiration into her. Meanwhile, the patio, that surely had been the height of fashion –in the 80s—continued to decline. The tiles were faded, broken, and unstable. And the weeds. They resisted vinegar, soap, salt, and even the most powerful commercial killers. So many strong, happy, weeds. They had to go. It all had to go. And then, rising out of the algorithmic chaos of ads on Facebook, was Sam the Concrete Man. A quick message, a text, and Tim came riding in in his white Sam the Concrete Man car with some magic measuring stick and his computer. He listened to what I was looking for, took notes, and got it 100% right without batting an eye. Seven hundred forty square feet. Black, brushed, shiny. “Please help figure out how to move the water away from the foundation… oh ... and can we fix these death-trap stairs?” The days of the failing, fading tiles, water intrusion, and the militant weeds were numbered. The crew rolled in with trucks, trailer, skid loader, and tools ready to rock and roll. Demo day! Derek, Jake, and Steve were outstanding. In addition to excellent workmanship, a work ethic of epic proportions, and top-notch customer service, they were conversant, courteous, and fun. They provided keen insight into shaping around the irregular landscaping space, creating a lovely curving sidewalk, and re-thinking the death-trap stairway. By the end of the week, my vision of a sleek, modern, and unique space was complete. It’s stunning. I have high expectations. Tim and his team exceeded them. Thanks, guys. Highly recommend. (Take that, weeds.)

Tim with Sam the concrete man is great! He is very responsive and has a team that he truly trusts! We have a beautiful new black stamped concrete porch we can’t wait to entertain on!

The owner was incredibly personable, professional, and transparent when he came out to quote the project. Although we chose a different route, he was understanding and even recommended other contractors. Highly recommend for their prompt communication and professionalism.
