This review is not for the work and concrete Carew provides but this story happened minutes ago and would like to share it. There is a pedestrian crosswalk in Hortonville on hwy 15 and I just saw one of there drivers make a complete stop to allow the pedestrian to cross. It is not near traffic signals and often wait myself for no oncoming traffic to cross as nobody ever stops for pedestrians at this particular crosswalk. I gave 5 stars as I assume Carew takes pride in training their drivers to be courteous and if not this driver just earned the company a 5 star review. 6/2/22 3:30 p.m .

Never had any issues with Carew over the years. Mostly picking up loads of topsoil, etc. However, this year, I needed some mulch and they had a decent price on "shredded pallets" so I decided to bite. Big mistake. Their so-called "shredded pallets" mulch was full of everything but the kitchen sink....and I think I might have seen some of that in there, too. What I did see was LOTS of the following.... River gravel of various sizes, lava rock, crushed gravel, concrete, plastic ties, bailing wire, cable ties, plastic sheeting, painted wood (multiple pieces of multiple colors), chicken wire and so much more. This "shredded pallet" mulch is clearly nothing more than RECYCLED LANDSCAPING MATERIALS. Upon discovering this, I decided to spread it as thin as possible and cover it up with some nice oak mulch from a local nursery which, upon very close inspection, contained NONE of the kinds of debris that was in Carew's mulch. Be careful if you're just trying to save a buck. What little you save will be much better spent at a place that actually sells what you think you're purchasing.

#OSHA Definitely needs to stop in here... if your scale is open to public or other businesses then shouldn't you have steps or a walk way attached? Would hate to see a driver break a leg falling 3+feet from a truck trying to get out to read the scale. 🙄

Your driver's should not be pulling out in front of traffic and driving 15 mph down the road. Terrible look for your company when they impede traffic.

I payed my contractor and my contractor wrought a bad check. Instead of crew concrete going to the the contractor for the payment they went for me the home owner. I contacted them and explained what was going on. Crew would not call the police for the bad check witch would have helped me hold the contractor responsible. So I feel that without Crew helping me by reporting a crime of writing a bad check for the contractor. They assisted the contractor on stealing $1700 from me while crew sued me for the $1700. I let crew know everything that was going on and they still felt like they should screw over the he owner.
