Just stopped in looking for a Christmas tree, found a very nice one at a reasonable price range. James was very helpful in assisting us with everything needed, we also grabbed some insulation. Both items were in great condition for a fair price. Will definitely be returning.

I have been coming here for close to a decade now and it's been a long downhill slide for this store. There are some deals to be had, but if a product that is still in the original packaging, James has priced it in line with current MSRP. If an item looks like it's worth more than a few dollars, James goes on ebay and prices it comparable to the first page of listings that are priced way higher than they are worth. Don't even bother trying to negotiate a fair price, not worth the hassle. It's too bad because everything is donated and the store could be generating more revenue for the cause. At least I can still round up or toss a few bucks in the donation box.

We always try to support local thrift type shops to help the community. On a recent doctor visit in Baraboo, we stopped at this store. As seems to be the trend now with many thrift stores, the prices are out of line for donated goods. If the goal is to raise money for your organization, make items affordable for those customers in need. And, for the high-end collectibles and antiques, you're pricing like an antique shop or eBay. You may feel you can get a top dollar for these pieces, but here is a fact: Avid collectors will not seek out antiques in a thrift store. The only people who shop thrift stores for antiques are antique DEALERS. They will not pay these high prices because they will not make a profit for resale. So, you're pricing out the main customers of your store. I've heard this complaint from dozens of people in recent years, and it is a common issue on negative reviews. More specifically to this store, we could not believe in seeing several nonstick pans on the wall with the teflon material worn off! These are not safe. Also, kitchen utensils like spatulas that were not even clean from food particles. The womens bathroom was also quite filthy. I know organizations have difficulty with adequate help, but this was a very unpleasant experience.
