I had a long section of gravel driveway paved by Synergy back in summer of 2021. At that time they were mostly just a sealcoating company and told me they were just starting to do full asphalt paving, which should have been a red flag for me. The section of driveway is about 200 feet long and goes to an outbuilding. I told them at the quote time AND at the time of paving "PLEASE the only thing I ask is that you grade away from the shop so water doesn't run in, like it's been doing." OK you got it. Well, not only did they not grade it properly and I have several massive puddles in front of my shop along with water running under my garage doors, the driveway is also cracking EVERYWHERE. This got worse and worse over a few years -- I didn't call right away because I knew there wasn't going to be much they'd do about the grading, but then the cracks continued to get worse. Every time I'd seal one, another would form. So I called Synergy last year and they seemed concerned. Vanessa is going to come out and take a look at it. When she finally does make it out, I wasn't home but I see on the cameras later she didn't even get out of her car. Just drove around back, then turned and left. She advised me "there's not much we can do about the cracking or the puddles. You would have needed to pay for additional grading if this was a concern." When I hired them, this was THE concern! Don't tell me later there's some "Extra grading" package I didn't sign up for! If it would have cost more money, I would have paid it! So it gets better. I figured they wouldn't do anything at all for me, because that's life, right? Of course they're not going to apologize and tear the whole thing out for a redo. BUT, I said "Hey, to sort of make up for this, can I just get you to sealcoat the whole driveway for me at a reduced cost?" Not for free, just with a discount. "Oh sure, we'll send you over a contract" and they never do. Then they say "too late in the season, you'll be first on the list next year 2025". OK so it's now August of 2025, I had signed the contract and returned in the spring. Take a guess as to if you think they came by and sealcoated. Here's the thing: As a homeowner, I'm jaded and used to shelling out tons of money for subpar work, and to continually be disappointed. I just expect it now. That's the world. But the fact that NO ONE even pretends like they care anymore. Just pretend like you actually care. Tell me you'll knock a few bucks off to be nice, and I'll be first on the list for sealcoat for another $1800 bucks on top of the $13,000 or whatever I'd already paid for the paving. Nah. This is how so many businesses are now. In fact, I'll bet I was LUCKY in 2021 to only pay $13k. I'm sure it's double now. Welcome to how things are now. Thanks Yoss family! It's raining as we speak and more water is pouring into my shop. Awesome. I'm actually rating it 2 stars to be fair, because the driveway did get paved. So that's something at least.

Lazy behind schedule on projects. Literally watching 4 employees stand in my parking lot playing on their phones while one guy works and they are days behind schedule.
