James and his crew did a fantastic job on our patio! James was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He checked in frequently and was a pleasure to work with. His quick responses, genuine interest in helping and, unique personality made it an easy decision to hire James over other contractors.

I used River City Concrete for our backyard patio. James was friendly and kept us up to date on project status. One issue came up and was resolved immediately once we communicated to him. James and his crew went above and beyond to make this project stress free. Highly Recommend!

We enjoyed working with James and River City Concrete this summer! We met with multiple companies for stamped concrete patio estimates. Some gave higher bids, some gave lower bids, but we picked River City Concrete because James is very knowledgeable and personable! James was at our house for quite a while on the night of the estimate -- talking about the patio options (size, color, shape, stamps, cost, stairs, etc.) and just getting to know us. We appreciate that he made the effort to get to know us/earn our trust for our project. James also tried to find ways to help us save on costs, like doing the stairs ourselves. He was upfront that he wouldn’t be doing the work personally but that he would be overseeing the project as well as meeting with us frequently to make sure everything was going to plan and to answer questions along the way. He communicated throughout the project to let us know when the crew would be coming/going, etc. He also visited our house to check in on the overall progress. When the patio was poured, something happened with the concrete that resulted in some cracks and discoloration. James noticed this and was honest about our options. He said it was important to him that we were happy with the end result. James and his crew went above and beyond to remove the patio and reinstall it. We appreciate that James stood by the quality of River City Concrete's work/reputation. The end result is amazing!
