Hard working team! On time, organized, knowledgeable! Group works together like a big happy family, no one sits around watching. Every member of the team can see what needs to be done and jumps into to help! Our project added cement to our existing garage for a third bay and drive way extended to it. They had all the right tools for the job! Would hire again!

We called several contractors and Angels was by far the best quote we received, and the only ones to respond quickly and show up on time for the estimate! We have a very large 6 car driveway, demolition was quick, and they had the entire job completed within a week. The new concrete looks amazing, and we are extremely happy with the job Angel and his crew did at our house. Highly recommended to anyone needing concrete work done in the Janesville area!!

YES!! All of the above! What great people to work with. So glad to see a company who keeps there word on time and price. Their work is so detailed and perfect! All these guys knew exactly what to do! If you are even slightly thinking of a project...Call these guys first. I promise you will thank me!! Deanna and Ron Nottestad

I'd like to start by saying that everyone I worked with was extremely friendly. I chose Angels due to the overall good reviews. However, the lack of communication from the initial estimate to their team members working the job and the quality of work completed has led me to this review. 1. Communication - Someone came out for the estimate which was a drawn picture with a price on it (should have been my first sign). I then dealt with a different person on Facebook messenger for the details who does not relay them to the team doing the work. Then upon completion, the dad asks about the amount quoted which clearly was not relayed. Why am I not speaking to only 1 person to get this job done? 4 different people is ridiculous and no wonder information is not passed on. 2. Patio - Is alright. I don't think it is going anywhere but the finish on the lines was done when the concrete was too wet which left the final result. I will clean this up with an angle grinder. 3. The concrete shed pad - I asked for this to be level and had asked if there was a better place in the yard to position it to which I was told no. Now I will need a retaining wall. Not pictured is the front of the pad which easily 6-10 inches above ground level for some reason when one corner should have been in the ground. 4. I had asked for a 14x12 gravel pad. I had assumed this would be completely framed in before compacted. Instead it is gravel compacted into the dirt with no border to delineate from the lawn. I had to ask for the 2x12 on the back side which you can see in the picture is left with untreated woof stakes with one nail in them. That's not going to hold for long with any weight on the pad. 5. Cleanup - there was zero cleanup completed. You can see plastic still taped to the house in the picture. I had to remove a bunch of grass/dirt chunks that were thrown into my field. This is what I get for getting one estimate because the reviews were good. Do not follow my mistake.

Unethical business practices – we won in court. In August 2025, my elderly mother hired Angel’s Concrete to extend her garage at her home in Whitewater, WI. He took a $5,000 cash payment but never gave a receipt or a written contract. He also failed to pull the required permits, which led to the City of Whitewater shutting the job down shortly after excavation began. We attempted to resolve the issue fairly , even offering to pay him $1,500 for the partial work , but he refused, became hostile, and took no accountability. We filed a case in small claims court. He was given the choice to go to trial or refund the $5,000, and he chose to pay the full amount plus court fees. This business does not operate ethically or legally, and I’m sharing this to warn other homeowners. Avoid Angel’s Concrete. ⚠️ In response to his public comment: His reply completely ignores the actual complaint: • He does not address the fact that he did not pull required permits, which is why the city inspector shut the job down. Angel’s Concrete claims that the $5,000 payment was “voluntary” and unsolicited — and therefore, they were not obligated to provide a receipt, contract, or comply with Wisconsin Admin Code ATCP 110.05. That’s legally incorrect. 📌 Under Wisconsin consumer protection law (ATCP 110), once a contractor accepts payment and begins a home improvement project, they are required to: • Provide a written contract • Disclose and obtain any necessary permits • Complete the work in a legal and workmanlike manner It doesn’t matter who offered to pay first , once they accepted the money and started the job, they became legally responsible for doing it the right way. No contractor is allowed to skip permits, fail to document payment, or walk away from a job just because the homeowner paid in good faith. • The job being shut down by the city confirms the violation , not our opinion. At the end of the day, all of this could have been avoided if the legal process had simply been followed. The back and forth is wild and I hope moving forward contracts, receipts, permits will be done PRIOR to any work being started. Best of luck.
