Bachmann Construction has gone above and beyond to please me. Project manager Dave's communication throughout the project was great. Additionally, site superintendent, Mark, provided exemplary follow through. Bachmann and their entire crew stands by their work and they always put the customer first. From start to finish, they provided professional services. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Bachmann Construction for anyone with a large or small construction or renovation project.

Phenomenal team to work with. A special thanks to Chris Quant for putting up with me as I built my first brick and mortar business. I received bids from 5 contractors for my project, Float Madison, and I had a feeling that Bachmann would be the best fit for the job. They assembled a fantastic team of subs whom were are great to work with and did a superb job. They were quick to answer questions as they came along both during construction and afterwards. I also want to thank Jimmy Z, Tim and other Jim for listening and working out solutions on a few special tasks. After 2 rounds of construction in the past 2 years, and their continued support when needed, I would recommend them to anyone. And, my fingers are crossed that the same team will be with the company when it's time for me to expand again. Thank you!

Todd at Bachmann Construction did a beautiful job of installing windows on my bakery trailer - great company to work with! Done in a day within my budget. I recommend this company!

Short version: For a contract that was supposed to be about $95k they surprised us at the end with a bill that was $150k. They were unable to manage the project well, they left to work on other projects regularly and charged us to leave their equipment here. They admitted they made construction mistakes and general mistakes, which was appropriate. They tried to fix most of them, but charged us for both the original work and those fixes all that occurred during the two month project—a financial nightmare. We checked in multiple times to see how things were going and things were going great, they said. Until the very end of the project when they charged us a surprise 50+% more. I have a lot of documented communication with them and hope you see this if you need work done so you can avoid Bachmann constructions.

We hired Bachmann Construction in 2000 to remodel my parents former home into our business, Legacy House Imports. Although the building looks beautiful and people love it, there have been serious problems. First, the site .manager did the lighting plan because our architect was on vacation. He was romantically involved with the lighting store rep. This resulted in way more costly lighting than we needed. We eventually had Hill Electric remove excessive track lighting in the store and excessive ground lighting in the parking lot that kept going out when it got wet. There has been a constant water leak into the basement where the old part of the building and the new part meet. It also leaked under the new back door onto the hardwood floor. Here is the reason I am finally motivated to write this review. Currently, we are having to replace the parking lot. The site manager for Bachmann designed it and the grading of it. It has always had puddled water and formed ice dams right at the handicapped parking spot. The angle for draining water to the street kept getting hit by snow plows and ruined the drainage system. It also ruined the under base. Bottom line: we now have to replace even the under base. This is costing thousands of dollars. The contractor says they cannot get the parking lot to the 2% recommended drainage grade because they would have to remove the entire curb and gutter system and start from scratch.
