I couldn't be more pleased with the end result of the curbing that was installed today around my house and shop. The employees were professional, friendly and very hard working. They worked like a well-oiled machine- each one knew their job and completed the job in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who want to improve the look of their home. Very impressed with the whole process.

Very pleased with Earthscape. Had Nick do curbing at our previous house. Had him do curbing, install landscape fabric and put rocks in our current house. Also had them pour concrete for our walkout. Will definitely hire them again. For people who complain about not getting back in a timely manner. I've used several small contractors and that is the norm. They are doing the work as well as managing the business.

Erin L’s review is the exact experience we are having! Nick was very quick to come see and promise but did not and has not completed the job!! It’s been over a month. He does not respond. Do NOT waste your time and money with this service. Plants damaged, concrete cracked and NOT yet sealed after they said they would in two weeks time. Communication is the biggest problem without a doubt. He is deceptive and clearly willing to take advantage. DO NOT write any checks until the job is completed. If he asks why you aren’t willing to put down a deposit until completed project…just refer to this review. It takes a certain type of human to treat his neighbors this way for his own personal gain.

The first time we used Earthscapes they were ok - nice job just did not show when they said and had to call, kind of like they forgot us. This time we had a much bigger job including redoing a retaining wall that we felt was settling- they started it and it looked worse- I stopped them and made them redo it. He said it would cost more because they would have to go down to the base -we said we wanted it done correctly. About six months later it was separating. We contacted Nick and he said let’s give it some time but not to worry he would not leave us hanging. Well, we contacted him and he has left us hanging- he does return our calls or messages. Oh, we kept asking “how much more will this cost us and he kept replying not much” and the final cost was around 5 grand more than the original estimate. Dummy us paid it all. What is our next step? Communication is poor. Buyer Beware.

short version: Overall poor communication. Poor customer service. Disrespectful of my time and property. longer version: Nick was quick to come out and check out my project. He seemed like a down to earth guy. I was hoping my experience would be good and that I could find a landscaper to work with on my entire yard over the next few years. Unfortunately, my experience with Earthscape was poor. Pros -Out of the 5 contractors I reached out to, Nick was one of 2 that contacted me back and the only one that said they had time to take my job. -He emailed me an unofficial estimate same day. Cons -the work took over a month with little communication of what was happening on their end. I do not believe this work should have taken this long. The scope of work changed and I accept that the project was unpredictable, but communication was the BIGGEST PROBLEM. After the first day or two, communication was pretty difficult. Nick would not respond for days in any format. When he did respond he would skirt around issues I'd brought up. Sometimes after many days of not hearing back each time, it took me stating that I would end our business relationship to get Nick to respond. This happened twice. The last time this happened I text and left a voicemail. Nick responded hours later via email. Nick did tell me in this email exchange that he was taking his time and doing my job whenever he wanted because he wasn't making much of a profit on it. This made me feel unimportant as a customer. -I did not get the official estimate/contract until 30 minutes before he arrived to start the work. I ended up missing a change from the original emailed estimate because it was rushed. -Nick's team damaged multiple things while working at my house. -Nick and the team did not show up when they said they would pretty much every time during this project. They were always late or didn't show. Additionally, they were never here for long each time they were here to do work.
