I am EXTREMELY impressed with Bruce and his team. I never expected the customer focus and communication skills demonstrated by a concrete contractor. Bruce couldn't be a nicer guy to deal with. You feel comfortable from the original quote process to the end of the job. We ran into some rain delay with the last week of soggy spring weather. Bruce called me every day, sometimes twice a day to give me updates on scheduling. They were out a total of three times for the job. Once to start excavating the dirt where the new portion of the driveway would be (this is where we ran into weather issues), second to finish excavation and form everything, and third for the pour. Each time Bruce and his team were on time and willing to answer any and all of my multiple questions. Cleanup was excellent. I came home for lunch one day while they were forming and noticed from inside Bruce and another team member cleaning off a few small dirt spots off the white garage door. I would have never cared had they left it. It speaks volumes that they are concerned about even the smallest of details. I have some obvious landscaping to take care of which was discussed prior to the job. I'd say I had about 6 contractors out for pricing. Bruce was on the higher end of the scale, although not the highest. You get what you pay for. You won't regret it!

Bruce and his team completed our walkway/ patio . Bruce and his team are truly professional. The concrete looks amazing, they even took the time to clean up afterwards very impressive. Ok customer service until you pay. I guess it was my fault for paying before the work was 100% completed. We began working with Bruce Dahlgren Construction in the summer of 2020. We were given a quote to remove and install of a low chert concrete driveway with a cure and seal. After receiving our quote of $10,000, which we thought was really reasonable we decided to move forward. After finishing the concrete installation October of 2020 we were told they did not have time to complete the cure and seal and stated they would comeback in the spring to do this. Come late winter around February I noticed the driveway was cracked in 2 places right next to each other and the full width of the driveway. I called the company and Bruce came out and said those are considered by him to be minor cracks, which is not warrantied. We were also told they would be able to get to us in June of 2021 to seal the driveway. I was going on a training trip with the National Guard and would be out of state so I said I would power wash the driveway and they said they would be over while I was gone to seal it. They never showed. I have since then attempted to call them a few times and was told they were busy and could not complete the work right now. Also the last 2 times I tried to call I received no answer and no answering machine picked up. As of July 2022 they still are not returning my calls.

Here is my experience using Bruce: 1. After 7 months we have a crack in the sidewalk. This is a non-traffic area (see photo) 2. There was a blemish at the end of the driveway the very next day 3. He did not follow code from the village and had to re-lay out the forms the next morning. 4. He sent us a letter in December after it had already snowed telling us not to use salt on the new driveway and walk. He could have given me that letter at the time of the job in August.
