Larry, Matt and the Dornbrook Construction team did excellent work on our new driveway. The crew was professional and on time, completed the job within the estimated timeframe, and left the work area clean. The concrete finish is smooth and even, and they took care to consider water drainage into the plans. I’m very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend them for concrete work.

Jim, the person who came by to give a quote was very professional. We walked through the project together and he answered all my questions. In fact, Dornbrook Construction was not the cheapest quote that I received. Jim's presentation is the reason I chose Dornbrook. The crew that arrived to start my project was also professional. The team lead, sorry I forgot your name, walked through the project with me. He then spraypainted a temporary layout. And we went through things again. We made some changes; added a foot to one edge of the driveway, added thickened edges to the front edge of the sidewalk, and buried a downspout under the driveway. The changes did add to the price, but this was mentioned in the original proposal. Removal of the old driveway, front sidewalk, and back stoop went quick. The removal of the front stoop took a lot of time. This was because they removed the edges of the existing stoop using hand tools to prevent damaging the brick and wood along 2 sides of the stoop. Thank you for taking great care when removing the front stoop. I didn't need to touch-up the paint or bricks. Setting the forms and other layout "stuff" was next. The only issue that came up was the front sidewalk. I was shown the chalk lines of the layout we discussed earlier and the sidewalk would have been sloped steeper than the team lead liked, and it would have exposed the cinderblock below the brick wall. I agreed to add a step to the end of the sidewalk. I do not believe that I would have liked the concrete sidewalk going below the brick. Once the forms were set they layed down new gravel and re-bar. It took 2 days and two truckloads of concrete to pour the driveway and front sidewalk and patio. The crew did a great job pouring the concrete. Everything looks great. The lines are all straight, appropriately spaced, and straight. This was a challenge because the home is not squared up to the garage or the street. One thing I will point out is that sealing the concrete is not included in the job. The crew gave me a recommendation to someone who will come next month to seal the new concrete. I love the look of my new driveway.

The team at Dornbrook Construction did an excellent job installing new cement slabs for 2 jib cranes in our warehouse. The team is very professional and capable. The quality of work is excellent and the pricing is very competitive. Highly recommended!

Communication was great from start to finish. The project (driveway and front sidewalk) turned out great. Everything looks wonderful, and we get lots of compliments from our friends! Larry worked hard to make sure the concrete was pitched well for drainage in an area that was a challenge.
