McLain's Unique Impressions

We had Mclain's Unique Impressions install a driveway and two patios for us 14 years ago. They started to look a little dull after so many years. We called the company and the phone was answered by the owner Dennis. He was very friendly and quick to help. The next Monday, he had a service tech at our house pressure washing the existing patios and driveway and applying a fresh coat of clear sealer. Now, our concrete looks as new as the day it was installed. It's nice to know there are still contractors out there that care about their product years down the line and not just until the check clears.

I was really excited about this project as we have wanted to stain our concrete patio for a year now. The vendor showed up unannounced, moved all our personal items onto the grass and stained the patio. We expected a heads up on when someone would be coming to start and an explanation on how the process works. When I called the owner that night he was in no condition to talk about this but continued to cut me off saying just wait until it is done. I at least was able to get an understanding about the process and how long it would take and cure. It was clear this was not a priority job as the worker showed up after 4pm to work and came in his personal vehicle. The final day when he came to seal, he went right over debris and bird poop. So instead of scrubbing those few spots on the deck and blowing it off after not coming by for a few days, he tells my husband nope if I couldn't get it off with the power washer I don't remove it. Now we have black spots from debris and poo under our sealed colored concrete. There is also a lot of discoloration through out the floor and not very consistent which looks awful. We were told how this company did the Govenors home and all these expensive projects. I guess since we were big money we get half ass work! So disappointed and holding final payment until they fix these issues! Now that it is sealed, I don't even think it can be fixed which is what I am afraid of. :(

Terrible experience with crew, workmanship & owner. We had to retain a lawyer as we were not given any satisfaction with the shoddy job. We chose this company because of Milker Park—BIG mistake. Don’t make the same one?
