We had multiple projects needing log home expertise. Anderson & Hammack did a great job from the extensive repairs to our chimney to the bathroom remodel and much, much more. We lived in the home while the work was being done and the crew made sure to work around our schedule and even cleaned up before they left each day. It was a great experience.

We had our bathroom remodeled with Anderson Hammack. The project took a bit longer than we had expected, but the results are absolutely gorgeous. The work that was done was also very high quality, it was clear that the A & H (and subcontractors) want to do the job right and that they have high standards for themselves. We ran into a few issues with manufacturer's defects and A & H was very responsive and had everything fixed as quickly as possible. I also appreciated that A & H looked at what needed to be done around the bathroom beyond the original scope of the work. For example, the previous exhaust fans had been vented incorrectly and was warping our siding and rotting the plywood behind the siding. Our foreman noticed this, pointed it out to us and recommended that we fix it (we did). I felt really comfortable knowing that if there were issues they would be brought to us instead of just covered up and patched over. It really was a good and high quality work. They were also very conscientious with all of our pets (2 dogs, 2 cats) and I didn't have to worry about them leaving doors open or escape routes out of the house. My only suggestion for the business is to more fully utilize the co-construct management software. On the website, it said that there would be weekly budget updates to the site; that wasn't the case for us. We did have several change orders (the moldy/rotting wall issue, choosing much more complex flooring than the initial estimate included, and the bathroom ceiling that wasn't included in the estimate--though we were combining two bathrooms and getting rid of an exhaust fan). Change orders are to be expected, and that wasn't a big deal, but without the weekly budget updates we didn't find out how much the change orders came to until the work was finishing up (and I had assumed frugal fixture choices would offset them; I was wrong). We had to scramble more that was comfortable to figure out the budget overage, but in the end we got a great bathroom. I feel that A & H was fair and trustworthy. If we ever do any future renovation, I'd use them again.

I can’t say enough about how pleased we were with Anderson Hammack. We had a small closed concept house and visions of what it could look like opened up. They told us how we could make that vision a reality and went to work. They kept us updated along the way and made great suggestions to make our small space seem big. Every person we talked with was absolutely wonderful. Chris had us to the house multiple times during the remodel to see the progress and make sure we were all on the same page. He kept us informed and was a fantastic guy to work with. Zion and the A- Team Crew did a great job and are clearly excellent craftsmen. We highly recommend Anderson Hammack and will use them again with any other projects.
