I’ve worked with Stier Construction many times over the past few years, and they consistently deliver outstanding results. Their craftsmanship is impeccable, their bids are fair and competitive, and they handle both straightforward and highly complex projects with skill and precision. On top of that, they are exceptionally responsive and quick to address any needs or questions. I highly recommend Stier Construction.

Our experience with Stier Construction was top quality! We now consider David and Fred our friends! They were patient, provided sharp analysis and advice, and delivered exactly what we had planned! The next time we have a project at our building, we won’t have to think twice! Thank you!

The Lutheran Home and Harwood Place has worked with Stier Construction on several projects over the past years. Fred and Dave have an appreciation of our mission and understand the logistics of doing renovations in occupied senior living spaces. We look forward to our continued partnership!

I have been very fortunate to have been involved with a big construction project and worked with Fred, Dan and David of Stier Construction. Best choice ever. It was a pleasure to work with them! (you don't hear that often with construction!) Honest. Fair. On time. Reliable. Responsible. And great guys too! Highly recommend this outstanding company to anyone in need of quality construction!!

I’m not sure if it was the building owner or the property manager that selected Stier Construction, but they completed the renovations on my new office suite. What I do know is they provide an awful experience from start to finish. Their communication is as shoddy as their craftsmanship. At the beginning, it took Project Manager Paul 35 days to simply update pricing on a previously completed proposal. They finished up the project by taking 307 days (not a typo) from our walkthrough where it was pointed out the water heater was not functional and needs to be replaced with a water heater suitable for a kitchenette. Time for a sample of the finished product! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I have selected just a few for review! I have included a picture of a new construction corner to display their finishing touches on newly installed drywall. The photo is after they came back to touch it up the first time. The original finish was comical, but I assumed they would be able to remedy the situation after the walkthrough and didn’t think photos would be needed. I realized my error here after their first attempt. I included a picture of a carpet seam after they came back to clean it up. You sure can’t miss that seam when you walk in the front door of my business suite. Another picture is of the paint/caulk job after their 2nd attempt to clean up a brand new countertop (not a counter that has had years of new coats of paint making it gradually look the way it does over time). Perhaps they were going after the “relic’d look”. It isn’t just the corner, the entire counter was finished this way. To be fair, they did come back a 3rd time to extend the paint even further onto the new counter in attempt to clean it up. Finally, I have included what you get when they need to come back and adjust new doors they installed that won’t close. Fred Stier himself even personally visited my suite and saw the quality of product his company was providing. Apparently, what you see in the photos is good enough for him, however, I’m not 100% sure because he stopped responding.
