I own a lake cottage in Florence County which is my true happy place so I'm hard pressed to trust people to do work on it. I needed a new driveway to replace the old asphalt one so I researched concrete masons extensively. Ultimately I hired Smith Concrete out of Wabeno. Jim Smith and his entire crew were fantastic. I received great communication from start to finish and the entire crew worked very hard to get the job done right. I highly recommend Smith Concrete to anyone who wants a high quality product at a reasonable price. On a side note, if you hire Jim don't tell him it was because of my review because I promised him I'd give him a bad review so that he wasn't so busy all the time.😆

Left a garage slab full of fibers from the fiberglass after pouring and finishing the slab in a downpour!!! Didnt slope/finish in one of the basement drains that were to be used as floor drain.

Contracted Smith Concrete to do flat work and root cellar. The slab they poured for garage has floor drains but water runs away from drains toward the walls. The slab they poured for patio was colored and stamped but never sealed so it is fading. The root cellar walls were poured but they never returned to pour the roof cap. Contacted them repeatedly about finishing the work they started. The answer was always the same. They would be right out to finish it. It has been a year now and it still is not completed. I contacted them again today and was told they were busy. Why don't I find someone else to finish the job. This is my experience with Smith Concrete from Wabeno WI.
