I cannot begin to explain how impressed I am with ACE. Rich went above and beyond helping me with all my questions. He then went on to buy chocolate for my daughters and friends son's with money out of his own wallet. Will definitely be back!

I always have a positive experience shopping at Tennies over the years, but the past few visits have made an exceptional impact on me. Not only have they been helped, but I feel that each time they have gone above & beyond restoring what true customer service is. Not only am I told where something is, I'm walked there & if for some reason they haven't had the amount of what I was looking for, they have ordered more & told me when it would be in. I've had employees ask to help me carry things to my car. They not only pick out the batteries I need, they'll replace them for me in my key fob too. Doreen has helped me get paint samples, going the extra mile to compare colors for me. Jason helped me program a new key & I watched his patience training a younger generation to gain skills. The cashier gave my daughter an activity kit one day to keep her busy while we were waiting. I often bring my 5 kids in with me & despite that being chaotic for me, the employees embrace them, often leaving quarters in the gum ball machine to surprise kids, (which clearly goes a long way). I adore the small town helpful feel & Tennies Ace Hardware will always be my first stop when I need something.

I needed parts for a 1970's small engine. We are not local to the area, but they had the parts in stock. While there we wandered around the lower part of the store and was amazed at the products that were in stock. Whenever we were near an employee we were asked if we needed help finding anything. We were very impressed with the friendliness of everyone. You just don't get that at the big box stores. If we lived closer we would be regular customers!

This has that "old school" feel to it and I love it. My only gripe is that every time I've called for anything, I can never seem to get an answer. I tried to have our lawn mower serviced and was never able to get ahold of anyone to schedule something. I even tried calling the Kewaskum location multiple times across a few days without any help. So unfortunately I've moved on to another place for all our lawn equipment services. Other than that I still like the West Bend location and stop in every once in awhile when I need things.

Went to this store for some pet safe salt. As I walked in the front atrium area discovered the salt right there. Nice! convenient right, well walked it up to the counter and was questioned about picking it up from outside. I said yes and also had a pin hole leak to it so just exchanged with newer fresher bag of the salt inside. Cashier, older female, appeared annoyed that I hadn’t informed her, rather rude. Well kind of lost my business right there that day. In fact just left the bag of salt on the counter and kindly said “I would like to cancel this order” a departed the store. Menards was on the way home. Great store overall and I’m one to prefer shop local even at slightly higher price. Just figure I would mention that it was just an unsavory customer service experience. No name tag so I will just have to refer to her as an older aged female.
