I loved this apartment so much! I would have stayed if I could, but a family emergency caused me to move out of state. The heat/air worked wonderfully and they even came to replace the filters for winter without me having to ask. The walls are thick so you don’t hear your neighbors, ever! Nice dishwasher, counters and microwave. I always felt safe here. The folks at the office are super nice and very understanding. If you’re debating between here and another apartment in Whitewater I recommend this place!!

I love Walton Rentals! When I moved into the house Im renting from them I noticed random things were broken and I asked them to fix them. A nice man came and fixed everything almost right away! Office workers are also super helpful! I will definitely be signing again through them!

The gentleman at the gravel pit was awesome. He gave great directions to the office, where he said we could get an estimate on our job. However, the lady in the office didn't take the time to give us an estimate. She just told us the prices of the material and the delivery charge of $140/hour. I had questions, but she seemed like she didn't have time for us. They seemed like a small business, and I prefer to use a local business (which they are). Sorry, you lost our business. ALL customers are important! I just didn't feel that at the office.

My husband and I rented from Walton Rentals for almost 5 years. We were always quiet, kept our home clean, and usually fixed our own issues without bothering Chris. What we dealt with through the years is what makes me say, zero stars. I wouldn’t recommend renting from them. For starters, we had horrible mold issues that were never truly fixed, and we now have horrible health issues resulting from it. She would have Tom (the sweetest handyman and the only pro of living there) come and wipe the mold off of our ceilings, shower, windowsills, blinds, etc., with bleach and an old t-shirt. We would constantly send videos and pictures of our ceilings dripping and black mold in many areas, and her favorite thing to do was gaslight us and tell us we were crazy! Along with that, we didn’t have a working dishwasher for over a year because Chris refused to acknowledge it was broken (and MOLDING). My husband did his best to fix it himself. Very very frustrating. She really liked to ghost our emails and calls and very rarely would send Tom to come do some insignificant thing that didn’t work to fix problems. Only AFTER we finally had enough and threatened legal action, magically they found a brand new dishwasher! ✨ Among lots of other things like, the shared washer/dryer being broken most of the time, extremely loud and noisy neighbors who were never reprimanded, parking stickers not being enforced and having no parking spot, not addressing killer wasps every summer that attacked us going up and down stairs, etc, etc.. The cherry on top was when we finally were able to buy a home and move out of our place with Walton, Chris decided we didn’t deserve to get back over half of our security deposit over extremely laughable, small, very dumb, reasons. Even though we had picture proof of things she accused us of not having done or ruining (she said the mold issues we complained about for YEARS was “soot damage”…we don’t smoke. And we don’t burn things.), she ghosted us. No friendly conversation to be found. We wanted to take her to small claims, but hey! buying a home is expensive and we couldn’t afford to deal with that mess. Overall, I don’t think Chris should be a landlord since she seemed to hate doing the bare minimum of taking care of her tenants and being friendly. So, one star. For Tom the Handyman and the memories we made despite the way we treated while living here all those years. Thanks Walton Rentals! 👍

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I have lived in this apartment for 4 years with black mold continuously growing.They haven’t attempted to do anything about it! Now that I have the health department involved they came and “cleaned” it but it’s still rapidly growing. It’s also on my window cells.
