ADR Custom Hire

I would recommend ADR over and over again. If you don't want to read the entire review because it's long that's fine, trust me when I say, hire him. You won't regret it. For those who wish to continue reading I purchased a property that needed the retaining wall, steps and deck replaced ( it was over 25 year old wood that was falling appart) but due to the steepness of the project companies were not willing to take on the risk until I found ADR. Austin was extremely attentive throughout the entire project. He made the process extremely simple and provided his professional opinion when needed, thank goodness because I had no idea there was so many different types of rock and didn't know what looked good with what. He also made suggestion/referral when it was appropriate. For example givin the type of soil it was suggested to use helical posts to ensure longevity of the retaining wall and so that the wall wouldn't need to be disturbed by the deck post that needed to run through it. I'm very thankful that he did this because this prevented a lot of hard work and money from going to waste years from now. He did all the work, from contacting the County, submitting for a permit, he was there when the County came to the property along with utilities allowing me to remain at work. He handled the ordering and delivery of materials along with anything that needed to be returned. He kept me update throughout the entire project. He kept a clean, organized and safe environment every day he worked. He was extremely diligent with every block ensuring it was straight and level. He paid attention to detail. If he thought a block looked off he would remove it and put a different one in its place. He was always easily accessible and returned phone calls/text messages in a timely manner. He found ways to work within my budget. He was easy to talk to and I didn't feel pressured while making decisions. He provided material catalogs which was nice because then I didn't have to try to envision the project on a computer/phone screen by clicking between web pages. Instead I was able to rip out the pages I liked and laid them out on the floor giving a better perspective. He is a very caring/humble person. In the middle of the project I had shoulder surgery limiting me to one hand/arm to use and he went out of his way to bring a few boxes to my front door that FedEx delivered to my garage. He is/was AMAZING and with his abilities he provided a stress free project experience for me that looks stunning. I will be sure to hire him again for future projects and recommend him to everyone I talk to. I tried to provide pictures so that you can appreciate the steepness that Austin was working with. My house had two wood decks. Austin raised the ground to make the bottom deck a walk out patio. My project is still in process so you will not see 100% completion photos at this time due to good ol Wisconsins winter weather that is approaching. I picked out a special sand for the patio that has specific temperature application requirements and winter weather is not one of them. With that said my project will be continued come summer. Until then, I hope you have realized how talented Austin is and why you should hire him for your project.

We recently hired ADR Custom Hire to redo the front walk at our home. Due to some road construction years ago the front yard and walkway were a disaster. Austin helped us design what would work best for us and also made some good suggestions. He did a beautiful job of cleaning out a lot of old "stuff" and installing a beautiful new walkway. We are extremely happy with everything that was done and grateful he was able in finish it in record time in spite of the rainy, cool weather the last couple of weeks. We had a vision of what we wanted in a patio, as an extension of our indoor living space, functional and visually appealing. Austin definitely delivered on what we hoped this would end up being. Austin was professional and skilled and included us every step of the way. He was honest about not having a ton of experience with raised patios but worked long and hard (almost entirely by himself) to get every last detail perfect. We love the finished product and spend the majority of our time outside enjoying the beauty and serenity of our new space. The project was completed in June '24 just in time for us to entertain family all summer long!
