I originally planned to redo my deck myself and had already decided on the Deckorators Voyage line of deck boards. As the project list grew, I realized I needed help to get everything finished in a reasonable timeframe. During my search for local installers, I found Robert—and I’m very glad I did. Robert was great to work with and very accommodating of my non-traditional design ideas. He was also respectful of my budget, allowing me to complete some portions of the project myself, including the final railing and skirting work. The deck turned out beautifully—the Costa boards with Khaya picture framing look fantastic, and Robert’s attention to detail really shows, especially in the mitered corners. The lighting adds an excellent finishing touch, and being able to control and customize it through an app on my phone is a great feature. Unfortunately, winter arrived before the entire project could be completed, but the results so far are outstanding, and I’m looking forward to finishing it in the spring. Thank you, Robert!

We couldn't be more pleased with the outstanding work Robert did to repair our deck that a falling tree crushed. Attention to detail and meticulous quality work. Selected boards to provide the best layout---didn't just screw them in. Top quality materials. Rebuilt the structure to be much stronger than the original deck. The additional brackets he added were a real plus. Done on a timely basis. Appreciated the communication regarding his progress and explanations about his work. First quality craftmanship. Highly recommend Robert. Reasonable cost given the extent of damage.

It is a relief to have found someone so skilled at creating beautiful decks. We had high hopes and our deck turned out even better than expected. Robert's attention to detail and hard work ethic is amazing in today's society; we can't recommend Robert highly enough. Do yourself a favor and go with Sunrise Structures and Exteriors if you're looking to transform your yard with a modern deck. Robert did an outstanding job on installing my composite deck!! He is definitely the “deck master”!! He is very knowledgable about all aspects of design, he worked long hours to get it done on time, and is so honest and trustworthy! He willingly accepted a few more personalized carpentry projects:) Robert is a true professional and such a pleasure to work with!!
